Dentures - From £500
Dentures are a great solution for missing
teeth, we work with expert laboratories to bring you the best in comfort and
design
- our practice has a special interest in the provsion of
dentures. Dentures can be a problem because of appearance, retention or poor function. We work in
conjunction with nationally accredited specialist prosthodontic laboratories to produce dentures that are
comfortable, aesthetic and functional. We cater for patients with both complete and partial dentures and we
design both acrylic and metal based dentures. Our aim is to produce a finished result that looks
natural.
Implants From £1300
Loss of teeth has important
functional and psychological implications particularly if their replacement involves wearing a denture or the
undertaking of extensive preparation of otherwise healthy teeth to provide a bridge.
The simplest and
most common treatment involves a single dental implant being used to support a single crown to replace one
missing tooth. More than one implant may be used to support fixed bridgework that can replace from 3 teeth to
a whole arch of teeth.
Dental implants can also be used to secure full dentures to improve their
stability, retention and function. are as close as possible to having your own teeth
again. Implants can be used to replace missing teeth or retain dentures. If you have lost a single tooth
then an implant is the ideal solution to restore a gap without affecting adjacent teeth. If you have lost
more than one tooth then an implant retained bridge is a possibility. If you have a mouth which does not
retain dentures well then implants will provide the solution.
